Curtis knows first-hand the importance of working as a team. Before joining Fielding Estate Winery, he raced high performance cars on the professional stock car circuit.
As President, Curtis oversees the day-to-day operations at the winery and ensures the quality of the wine produced. When he began farming he made it his goal to produce high quality grapes which can be turned into high quality wine. Curtis applies his education in business management and marketing to the winery's operations and finances, constantly remaining current within the wine industry and seeking ways to improve the wine and the experience at the Wine Lodge.
In 2012, Curtis was crowned the Grape King by the Ontario Growers of Ontario for his commitment to the industry and acted as the ambassador throughout the 2012/13 season. Curtis has also been a recipient of a 40 under 40 award as well as a finalist in Young Farmers of Canada.
For Heidi, wine is a social event, a time to be spent with family and friends alongside good food and even better conversation. As Director of Sales & Marketing, the Niagara native creates memorable experiences for every guest through the beauty of the winery as they explore our wines.
Heidi engages visitors through her warm personality and shares her passion for wine and her family with every guest. Previously, Heidi started working in the wine industry in 2001 and in 2005 began her position at Fielding Estate Winery focussing on hospitality, marketing and industry relations.
Heidi was also a recipeint of a 40 under 40 award and a finalist in Young Farmers of Canada.
Heidi and her team work to present fun and fresh events, pairing Fielding wines with entertainment to encourage everyone to come out to the Wine Lodge and enjoy the wine.
Raised in Niagara, Richie is part of the new generation of winemakers – talented men and women experimenting with winemaking.
Richie focuses on creating the best expression of a vintage that he can, extrapolating the unique characteristics of the Beamsville Bench terroir. Sometimes, the result is completely unexpected, yet, in typical Fielding fashion, extraordinary.
Energetic and passionate about the winery and the wine industry, Richie is always ready to take on the challenges of a profession that’s continuously evolving. The quality of his wines comes from great skill and patience, and it’s his dedication to crafting wine that so many people respect and enjoy.
In 2013, Richie was honoured as a business leader in Niagara as part of the Business Link's Top 40 under 40 for his innovation within the winemaking industry.
