A selected parcel of vines in the Lowrey Vineyard, a 5th Generation family-farmed site on the St. David’s Bench. Hand-picked, destemmed grapes were cold soaked for two days prior to being allowed to warm up and begin fermentation. Approximately 5% whole cluster fermentation. Following a total maceration time of 14 days the lots were gently pressed off and racked into barrel, where malo-lactic fermentation took place. After aging sixteen months in premium French oak (mostly older barrels), the wine was racked from barrel and bottled without fining or filtration.
