2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep red in color with a complex nose of clove, vanilla, blackberry, licorice, black olive, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and dried fig. Warm spices and dark fruit flavours on the palate, with a full mouthfeel and very good tannin structure.


This wine is a small lot of ten barrels from selected coopers and forest origins (30% new / 70% older oak) aged for 18 months on their lees and selected for their intensity and complexity. The fruit was picked and sorted by hand to ensure only the best quality grapes were used for this wine. Aged in bottle for one year prior to release. Wismer Vineyards 85%. Fielding Vineyard 15%.
